These blogs are therapeutic for me. I told myself
then when I was blogging that I would only think happy thoughts and
thoughts that would help keep my mind right. Negativity can nag at you
even when you try to avoid it. It can creep in your mind as a thought
and then another thought and all of a sudden you're in a horrible mood,
you're taking it out on the wrong people and all of a sudden, you are labeled a bitch. (Which BTW, doesn't help the case... LOL)
I found this quote on the 'net and thought I would leave this as food for thought:
"A
thought enters our mind that we recognize as negative, we simply
dismiss it. By dismissing negativity we take away its power by not
allowing it to manifest further negativity in our lives. "
I've
found that I've celebrated many losses and turned them into winning
experiences by focusing on the positive that came from it rather than
the negative. It can seem like a daunting task at times and it's almost
like an internal argument with yourself, but you can train your mind to
be a more pleasant place to be.
Fake it until you make it!
If
you feel sad, mad, what the heck ever - go look at yourself in the
mirror and smile. If you don't love yourself enough to try and cheer
yourself up and get your mind right - you are cheating yourself. TREAT
YOURSELF!!!
Don't accept less than the best when it comes to
yourself. Recognize your emotional liabilities and cut them loose. Find
emotional assets, things that make you feel good about being you.
And in the meantime, I will do my best to do the same!
Until we meet, here's a picture of my butt... LOL.
